From Veteran to Correctional Officer
Corrections is a 24 hours a day operation. Because of this, corrections offers the opportunity to work at a variety of hours. Shift work may allow for a decrease in child care expenses, the opportunity to go to college, or the chance to participate in activities that working the standard 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, does not allow for such as volunteering at your child's school.
