Probation and Parole Officers, Fugitive Apprehensive Agents and Internal Affairs Investigators job duties require that they are or become certified peace officers. The training is provided by the Oklahoma Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET). Upon successful completion of the Basic Peace Officer Academy the Oklahoma Department of Corrections will commission each Department of Corrections participant.
