Training and staff development offers employees the opportunity to obtain the knowledge and skills empowering them to successfully perform their jobs at a standard of excellence that assists the agency in achieving its mission.
Requirements for specific training subjects are determined by state/federal laws, certification requirements, policy and procedure, occupational analysis, administrative direction and organizational diagnosis.
40 Hour Orientation at Work Site
Each facility or district has a training officer or training coordinator assigned to coordinate all facets of employee training. If you have questions about training, please contact your local training officer, coordinator, or training officer from the Oklahoma Correctional Training Academy.
