Charles E. "Bill" Johnson was a catalyst in the pursuit of the 300 bed Drug Offender Work Camp, the first program of its kind in the nation. Johnson would be pleased to know that the Bill Johnson Correctional Center is providing approximately 120 jobs for the Alva area. He also would be pleased to know that his endeavors would provide the inmates in that facility the opportunity to change their habits for life.
