- Approximately 40 minimum security offenders work at this 6,720 acre
unit.
- The farm produces approximately 10,000 small bales and 600 large round
bales of wheat and hybrid grass hay. Small grains and other cool
season grasses are grown to meet the needs of the cattle and horses on
this unit.
- The primary purpose of the farm is back grounding stocker heifers from
the other units. The farm grows and breeds approximately 250 replacement
heifers for the annual S2 production sale held at the JDCC Agri-Services
unit each March.
- A vehicle maintenance facility located on the unit does minor and major
repair for Oklahoma State Reformatory and Agri-Services vehicles, road
trucks and agriculture tractors. The unit also has a complete paint
and body repair shop.
- This unit produces 100 acres of edible beans annually for offender consumption.
