The Oklahoma Criminal Justice Research Consortium


The consortium is a confederation of interested parties from Oklahoma colleges, universities,  and private and state agencies organized for the purpose of advancing research in criminal  justice. The purpose of the consortium is to advise and assist Oklahoma criminal justice agencies  in identifying topics, researchers, and methodologies of interest and benefit to the agencies and  policy makers. The general membership meets semiannually and is open to anyone with interests in criminal justice research.

The Journal of the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Research Consortium is published annually under auspices of and is the official publication of the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Research Consortium. Technical, staff, and financial support for the journal is provided by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. The journal is provided free of charge to criminal justice agencies, colleges, and universities with criminal justice/corrections curricula, members of the Association for Correctional Research and Information Management (ACRIM), and other related criminal justice/corrections organizations and individuals. You are also free to copy the journal, in whole or in part so long as it is for educational purposes. Articles may not be reproduced for profit without approval of the author(s).
